The World's Heaviest Ultra

The World's Heaviest Ultra
Hi, my name is Parker Fontecchio. I’m a 24-year-old endurance athlete and CrossFit coach based in Tempe, Arizona. My passion is pushing the limits of the human body — not just for the sake of performance, but to spark conversations that matter and show how amazing the human mind is. I’m a huge advocate for mental health. Like many, I’ve struggled deeply, especially entering adulthood. Fitness became my lifeline — my way of coping, healing, and finding purpose. Now, I take on extreme physical challenges to raise awareness for mental health and show what invisible struggles really feel like.
So far in this journey, I’ve:
- Rope climbed the height of Mt. Everest (2,296 ascents in 25 hours and 40 minutes).
- Flipped a 200-pound tire for 24 hours straight, covering over 7 miles.
- Carried 22-pound farmer’s handles for 72 miles around Lake Tahoe to raise awareness for veteran suicide prevention.
The next adventure is my biggest one yet: I’m going to pull a truck for 50 kilometers — an ultra-marathon distance — to keep using fitness as a platform for impact. It’s brutal, symbolic, and exactly the kind of challenge that reminds people they’re not alone in their battles.
